Environment Specifics

A large plant suitable only for large tall aquariums. They prefer some current in the water and originate from fast flowing water. Best in medium to high light conditions.

Identification

The oldest long leaves are deep dark-green, while younger leaves are light-green and sometimes brownish until they are fully developed. In favourable conditions it can form very large leaves (up to 80cm (31.5") long and 8cm (3.1") wide).
